We are looking to welcome a professional, warm and skilled Inclusion Leader to the Great and Little Shelford community - 2 days per week.

Teacher, Main Pay Scale / Upper Pay Scale plus SEND Award, 0.4 FTE (2 days per
week) permanent

is able to offer flexibility over which 2 days per week.

Pro-rata at 0.4 FTE: Main Pay Scale – (£25,714 -
£36,961) or Upper Pay Scale (£38,690 – £41,604)

Plus

Pro-rata at 0.4 FTE: SEND Allowance - (£2,270 if SEND Award
achieved)

Specific Roles within the SENDCo role:

  • SENDCo
  • Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead
  • Designated Teacher for Children in Care
  • Mental Health Champion
  • Line Manager for Teaching Assistants

The successful
candidate will:


  • uphold and take a role in
    leading the school’s vision;

  • uphold their duty with respect to the
    safeguarding of pupils and act as a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead;
  • have a strong vision for inclusion and
    lead this throughout the school;
  • approach their role within the Senior
    Leadership Team with a view of the whole school;
  • have a passion for supporting pupils,
    families and staff;
  • lead approaches to support positive
    wellbeing for pupils and staff;
  • have proven track records of engaging
    learners and promoting progress in all;


  • be
    caring, enthusiastic, dedicated and well-organised;

  • have excellent
    standards of Literacy and Numeracy;


  • work
    well in a team;

  • have high expectations for pupils’ work and
    behaviour.
