Inclusion Leader – The View/The Blue Room Alternative Provisions
Contract: Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover).
Starting Salary:
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 08.00 to 16.00 and Friday’s 08.00 to 15.30. Term time only (39 weeks per year)

We are seeking to recruit an experienced Inclusion Leader to lead our internal Alternative Provision facility (The View and The Blue Room). The strategic purpose of the role is to ensure that students accessing this provision who are experiencing a variety of behavioural, emotional and social difficulties and/ or medical needs are fully supported to realise their full positive potential within our Alternative Provisions and the College.
The successful candidate will have a background in working with students with challenging behaviours and contexts and will be able to motivate and inspire those within our Alternative Provisions (The View and The Blue Room) to achieve the best possible outcomes to enable their successful transition to next steps in their educational journey.
Cambourne Village College is an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ rated, over-subscribed secondary school, eight miles from Cambridge. We opened as an academy of the Cam Academy Trust in September 2013. Our ethos is aspirational and inclusive, our staff is highly motivated, our pupils courteous and hard-working, and we have excellent facilities. A 350 place sixth form opened in September 2024, with 175 students in each of Years 12 and 13. Cambourne Village College, an academy of The Cam Academy Trust, opened in brand new premises in September 2013 with just five forms of Year 7 pupils. Serving one of the fastest-growing communities in the UK, we now have more than 1300 pupils on roll, with major further expansion planned, including the opening of our new sixth form centre in September 2024.
