Lytham St Annes High School (LSA) is seeking a dedicated and proactive Inclusion Officer to join our Inclusion Team. This is a vital role supporting students through a graduated approach, improving wellbeing, attendance, engagement and academic progress. You’ll work directly with students, families and staff to remove barriers to learning and ensure every young person feels safe, supported and able to succeed.


This is a full‑time, term‑time role, line‑managed by the Assistant Headteacher for Inclusion.


A day in your new role could see you:

  • Supporting attendance and EBSA needs, including leading reintegration planning
  • Delivering 1:1 mentoring and small‑group interventions to build resilience, confidence and emotional regulation
  • Teaching small groups at KS3 and KS4, including students accessing our Internal Alternative Provision
  • Working closely with families through meetings, check‑ins and signposting to external services
  • Collaborating with internal staff and external agencies to coordinate support
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting on progress
  • Contributing to pupil learning profiles, inclusion documentation and SEND processes
  • Undertaking safeguarding responsibilities and completing relevant training
  • Supporting staff training and inclusion team administration
