Actual Annual Salary: £27,362 - £29,850 (Based on hours and week worked)
Full Time Equivalent Salary: £31,954- £34,860 (CLF Grade D) Based on full time hours, all year round.
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: 37 hours per week - Full Time, Term Time Only plus Inset days

As Inclusion Room Manager, you will lead the Separated Learning Room (SLR) provision, supporting students to remain in the classroom and succeed both academically and emotionally. You will implement tailored interventions, manage behaviour support strategies, and work collaboratively with staff, families, and external agencies to remove barriers to learning. Your work will have a measurable impact on student progress, inclusion, and overall well-being.
You will take responsibility for planning and delivering bespoke learning and behaviour support activities, adapting approaches to meet individual needs. You’ll also play a key role in safeguarding, data monitoring, and contributing to whole-school strategies that promote equity and resilience.

You will:
- Be committed to improving the life chances of all students, especially those facing barriers to learning.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, emotionally demanding environment, showing resilience, empathy, and professionalism.
- Be confident in managing behaviour and de-escalating challenging situations, using restorative and preventative approaches.
- Have experience working with young people, particularly those with behavioural or emotional needs, and be able to build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
- Be proactive in identifying needs and implementing interventions that support inclusion and engagement.
- Be confident in using data systems (e.g. MIS, CPOMS) to monitor progress and inform decision-making.
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Have strong communication and mediation skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information appropriately.
- Be organised, reflective, and committed to continuous professional development.
- Hold or be willing to work towards relevant qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, First Aid).
- Understand classroom roles and responsibilities and be able to work collaboratively with teaching staff.
- Be passionate about inclusion, equity, and creating a safe, supportive learning environment for all.
