We're seeking an exceptional Inclusion Room Manager to ensure the calm, effectively daily running of our RRR (Remove-Reflect-Restore) Inclusion Room.
- The successful candidate will work 37 hours per week.
- This is a 39-week-per-year role, which includes term time and non-pupil days.
- The proposed start date for this post is 1st September 2026.
A Day in the Life:
Some key responsibilities include:
- Running pastoral interventions across the school for identified cohorts at times identified by the Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
- Collecting and settling students from late gate entry into the RRR room and reminding them of the ‘R-R-R’ agreement and expectations.
- Inputting attendance for RRR students on Arbor and preparing timetables for each student aligning with their current timetable.
- Reviewing data and updating Year Teams of any concerns or dynamic clashes.
- Creating half-termly reports on RRR names, repeat offenders, early inventions and success stories.
- Running termly parent workshops to support parents and carers with behaviour strategies at home and how to best support their child whilst at Paxman (invite only).
What We're Looking For:
You are the perfect fit for our team if you:
- Have a good standard of overall education.
- Are ICT literate, with the ability to use ICT systems, tools and equipment for logging, monitoring and communication.
- Have the ability to resolve day-to-day problems and manage challenging behaviour independently.
- Have an understanding of what is meant by safeguarding and the different ways in which children may be harmed.
- Relevant experience of working with students aged 11-16 is desirable.
