Inclusion support assistant job summary

About this Role

We are seeking to appoint a Inclusion Support Assistant to work 1:1 across KS1 (year 1). A level 3 qualification desirable as well as experience of supporting SEND pupils. Hours of work to be decided but will be term time only.

We require someone who:

  • Has experience of working with children with learning difficulties or children who require additional support for learning.
  • Has the relevant skills and strategies to ensure support can be implemented to meet identified needs.
  • Have experience of working with children with Autism and with identified speech needs.
  • Have good behaviour management strategies.
  • Is flexible and well organised.
  • Has good interpersonal skills and is able to communicate well.

This position is temporary until 31st August 25 or until the child leaves the school / dependent on additional funding received to support individual pupil needs.
