What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Inclusive Learning Mentor to join our evolving Inclusive Learning Team. In this role, you will work across all curriculum areas, identifying emerging support needs and providing effective strategies to help students achieve their aspirations. You will assist with student engagement, transition, and induction activities, and provide tailored learning support in areas such as study skills, English, Maths, dyslexia, EAL, and bespoke learning programmes.
You will be an organised and flexible professional, capable of managing a varied workload that includes delivering 1:1 and small group support, liaising with course teams, parents, and external professionals, and contributing to termly and annual reviews for students with EHCPs. You will also maintain accurate records, coordinate exam adjustments, and support off-site placements or internships as required.
As an integral member of the Inclusive Learning Team, you will embed our college character strengths in your work, providing meaningful and effective support to students while fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
