What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Class Teacher to join our Infant School on Main Pay Scale (MPS). This role will involve:
- Planning and delivering high-quality, engaging learning experiences that embody our vision and values.
- Teaching across the Infant age range with a focus on early reading, phonics, anddeveloping writing for purpose and pleasure.
- Differentiating effectively to meet the needs of pupils with a wide range of abilities, including those with SEND and EAL.
- Working collaboratively with staff, parents and the wider Clarendon community to support pupil progress, wellbeing and belonging.
- Contributing to the school’s improvement priorities, particularly in enhancing continuous provision and raising Early Years outcomes.

You will be:
- A reflective and creative teacher who inspires curiosity and resilience in young pupils.
- Confident in teaching phonics and early reading, with a clear commitment to raising reading and writing outcomes.
- Skilled at adapting teaching to meet diverse needs, including pupils with SEND and those learning English as an additional language.
- Collaborative and warm, with excellent communication skills for working with colleagues, parents and the service family community.

Clarendon Federation is a maintained primary comprising Infant and Junior sites, serving the garrison town of Tidworth and the surrounding area on beautiful Salisbury Plain.
