What skills and experience we're looking for
Bradfield School is looking to recruit an energetic, enthusiastic, and inspiring teacher to develop and lead the school’s Integrated Resource Provision for young people who have Cognition and Learning needs. You will join a team of experienced practitioners able to offer a new colleague advice and support in an environment which enables our staff and pupils to thrive. Your role will support the needs of up to 12 high needs pupils and the successful candidate will be able to deliver a relevant primary curriculum at KS3 and KS4.We are a comprehensive school situated on the edge of the Peak District National Park on the northwest side of Sheffield, rated 'Good' by Ofsted June 2025. We have both a higher than average, number of high prior attaining pupils coupled with a growing number of students with additional needs.The school is a Member of Inova Multi Academy Trust. - Demonstrate and deliver excellent teaching
- Be able to work under pressure within a strong team focused towards challenging goals
- Have the ability to teach a primary curriculum at KS3 and KS4 and deliver English and Maths based on Entry Level qualifications.
- Have an understanding of meeting needs for students with an Educational Health and Care Plan with personalised outcomes.
- Be able to work closely with multi agency professionals to meet needs of the students in the Integrated Resource Provision.
- Play a key role in the assess, plan, do review process for students in Integrated Resource Provision and support enhanced transition arrangements for these students.
- Co-ordinate provision for individual students to ensure they are successful both in the IR classroom and accessing elements of the mainstream curriculum
