Do you want to work in a role where you can be a positive influence on and make a real difference to young people’s lives? If so, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated & creative individual to join our forward thinking school that is as part of the Leverhulme Academy Trust.

We are seeking to appoint an Intervention Assistant to work in our school Behaviour Centre. Our young people need a positive role model who will motivate them, believe in their abilities and help them to see their potential whilst building their resilience and self-esteem. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience should you wish to further your career in student welfare and pastoral roles.

The role will primarily involve supporting students who are struggling to meet the standards expected of them in the main body of the school and who need a smaller, more bespoke learning experience and environment to positively influence them in developing the skills required to be successful when they return to lessons.

You will support our students in a variety of ways including: mentoring, enrichment, alternative curriculums, developing social skills, intervention, academic work & restorative programmes.

A full information pack which includes the job description and person specification is available from the Trust website.
