Intervention Teacher of English job summary

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Intervention Teacher to provide support and guidance to students in the subject of English from September 2020. Intervention Teachers enable the Academy to offer timetabled support to individuals / small groups of students, where needed. In many cases, they will work with some of our most-able students, helping them to reach their full potential. Experience of working with children and young people in a teaching / instructing role within the subject area is essential. Applicants must have a good standard of education and be able to communicate effectively with students. St George’s Academy is a large, successful, 11-18 mixed secondary school of 2,340 students (including 334 in the sixth form) with outstanding facilities in all areas. The Academy serves Sleaford, Ruskington and the surrounding Lincolnshire villages with our main campus in Sleaford and our smaller campus in the village of Ruskington.
