Norwich Primary Academy is recruiting for reliable and hardworking people to join our exam invigilation team. We are looking for people who can be available on a casual and flexible basis to invigilate examinations, in particular the SATs exams. The role also involves providing assistance as scribes or readers to students who need extra support in exams.
The role holder will ensure exams are carried out fairly and in accordance with the rules set out by the examination board. Previous experience would be helpful although not essential as training will be provided.
What You’ll Be Doing
- To ensure the fair and proper conduct of exams in an environment that enables a student to perform at their best.
- To ensure that exams are carried out in accordance with the rules set out by the examination boards and Norwich Primary Academy.
- To assist with the implementation of agreed exam access arrangements to meet the needs of students.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Good numeracy and literacy levels
- Excellent communication skills
- A flexible approach to work
- The ability to remain calm under pressure
- Computer literacy as you will be required to work with a computer on occasion.
