What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for an enthusiastic and inspirational IT/Computing Teacher to join a well-qualified and effective team. The successful candidate should be able to teach IT/Computing across the full age and ability range. This is a full-time permanent contract with an April 2025 start (after Easter). A September start will also be considered. This post would suit both an experienced colleague and a colleague who is new to the profession. Interviews will be held on Wednesday 26th February 2025.

Lytchett Minster is a successful 11-18 mixed comprehensive school with approximately 1604 students, 318 of whom are in the successful sixth form. The learning environment is stunning with extensive and beautiful grounds; the school site is comprised of South Lytchett Manor House together with a number of modern extensions including the Arts block and theatre. We pride ourselves on our high standards and positive ethos, the school is popular and highly regarded in the community.
The IT/Computing Department is welcoming and will ensure that the successful candidate receives appropriate induction, training and support. We also have well developed performance management systems, and a range of professional development opportunities are available such as leadership training and twilight inset sessions.
