IT Project Engineer job summary

We are looking to recruit an IT Project Engineer to help support the management and development of the ICT infrastructure here at Great Heights Academy Trust. Reporting into the IT Infrastructure Manager, this is a great opportunity for someone with experience in a similar role or someone who is ready to take the next step in their career. This is a 12-month contract with the possibility to extend based on Trust development needs. The role is required for 37 hours per week Monday to Friday.

You will be an integral part of the IT team at Great Heights Academy Trust, providing project support and 3rd line escalation support. You will be required to work across all our schools in the Calderdale, Kirklees and Leeds area, along with providing ad hoc support to all settings and designations. The successful candidate will be required to contribute to the continual service improvement of the ICT support service and share their expertise with other members of the team.

We are looking for someone who has had some previous experience in server, desktop and software support. Knowledge of networking and virtualisation technologies and multi-site migrations is required. You will have excellent customer service and communication skills, be approachable, adaptable and have the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
