IT Technician (Apprentice)

Salary: Grade 3B APP

(Under 21 £18,483; 21 and Over £26,403)

Hours: 37 per week, Monday to Friday (all year round)

Permanent Contract, with a view to becoming IT Apprentice on completion of Apprenticeship qualification.

We are seeking an enthusiastic IT Technician to join the team at Bridlington School. An apprenticeship is available for unqualified candidates and you will be provided with training and time to complete L3 Technician Apprenticeship with LearnTech.

The IT technician supports the Network Manager in ensuring a high level of service is provided to all users across the school.

The Role

The IT Technician is the first line of IT support, maintaining the IT helpdesk is a large part of this role - either completing the action or understanding when to escalate. The IT Technician provides technical support for equipment throughout the school whilst having an involvement in longer projects. An ability to prioritise your workload will be essential, but in return you will have a varied role and the opportunity to gain experience in a range of school based IT. The amount of responsibility will grow with you as your training and expertise progresses.
