IT Technician job summary
Bramcote College are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified, confident, dedicated and experienced ICT professional to provide on-site IT support. The successful applicant will be based full-time in the school and will become an active member of the school staff and of the wider Trust IT Services team, a close-knit and collaborative team supporting all schools across The White Hills Park Trust, working closely with the Trust’s IT Services Director, Manager and other Technicians.
This is a vital role within the school, providing high-quality technical support that underpins teaching, learning, and daily operations. The successful candidate will play a key part in ensuring systems run smoothly by providing quality technical support to students and staff at Bramcote College, including performing routine maintenance tasks, hardware/software setup and configuration, on-site/cloud account administration, managing consumables, and ensuring the general efficiency and suitability of the school’s IT estate.
This role presents an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT Technician to join us in an exciting phase of the college’s development - with a new, modern building containing up-to-date IT infrastructure and designed to meet DfE technology standards due to be completed over the next two years.
This is a full-time, year-round position, and the successful applicant must be enthusiastic, organised, flexible and able to use their own initiative, prioritising tasks and working proactively to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Bramcote College is a friendly, inclusive and multicultural place to work and study. We secured a well-deserved Good judgement in February 2024, and achievement is on a secure upward trend. Our students are well-behaved and motivated. “Classrooms are calm and orderly. Around school, pupils are polite and respectful” - Ofsted 2024. We have excellent support from parents and the community, and a talented and positive staff team. We are ambitious for every student and provide high-quality pastoral care and support, as well as outstanding enrichment opportunities for our students and the local community. We are committed to excellent professional development for all. Continued school improvement is supported by membership of The White Hills Park Trust. A new school will be built over the next two years, with anticipated completion Easter 2028.
"There are high aspirations for all pupils at Bramcote College. The school’s motto encourages pupils to ‘Work hard, Be well, Do well.' Pupils are happy and appreciate the opportunities that the school gives them." Ofsted 2024.
