Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday / All year-round

Provisional Start Date: October 2025

Additional role info: Working Pattern = Monday to Thursday 7.5 hours per day 8am to 4pm with 30-minute lunch & Friday 7 hours 8am to 3.30pm with 30-minute lunch. The role will require travelling across the federation and working from home, so driving is essential.

We are looking for a passionate and inspiring ICT Technician to join our supportive and talented team at Cabot Learning Federation.

Under the guidance of senior staff, the ICT Technician will provide high quality ICT support for Kings Oak Academy and John Cabot Academy. They will be able to quickly understand and support users and maintain the IT systems. The ICT Technician will be able to coach colleagues within the IT team and support in providing IT training. At all times, the post holder will be expected to work collaboratively with relevant colleagues to fulfil the requirements of the role and contribute positively to the effective running of the IT function within the academy.

About you:

You will have:

  • good literacy and numeracy competency (including GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above), or equivalent qualifications.
  • hold a relevant IT qualification e.g., ITIL, or Level 3 (or above).
  • knowledge of installation and configuration of Windows 10/11.
  • knowledge of desktop and laptop hardware repairs.
  • experience working within an IT support team environment
  • good oral and written communication skills
