  • About the Role

City of London Academies Trust (COLAT) is seeking to appoint an exceptional IT Technician. As one of the Trust’s IT Technicians, you will work within a professional team of colleagues ensuring the smooth running of all Trust ICT systems and infrastructure to facilitate outstanding teaching, learning, administration, and leadership. You will provide a first contact service to assess and diagnose reported incidents, as well as second level support by investigating raised incidents and provide resolutions within the service level agreement targets. We will provide opportunities for growth and development through training, hands-on experience, and exposure to a range of technologies. This role is part of the Central IT Team and you will be based in one of our academies according to need to support with the main focus of providing a high quality, comprehensive and efficient IT support function.

  • About you

We are looking for a highly skilled and knowledgeable candidate who wants to work in a role where there is ample opportunity to apply their expertise and skills within an education setting. You will hold a recognised technician qualification at NVQ level 3 or have relevant experience. You will have a sound knowledge of service level definition with the ability to priorities own workload, be an excellent planner and organiser, with proficient communication skills whilst maintaining professionalism when working under pressure.
