What skills and experience we're looking for

Bracken Leas Primary School is seeking an excellent, energised Learning Support Assistant to join our excellent team. We are looking for an individual who has the confidence and expertise to support individual pupils with high needs as well as assist generally with pupils’ learning in class. The post-holder will be reflective and forward thinking, a successful practitioner with a passion for learning (for both the pupils and themselves). Ideally, applicants should have previous experience of working with children with special educational needs, including autism. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a teaching team with commitment and flexibility is essential. The ideal applicant will be keen and enthusiastic, ready to join our dedicated team. We have high expectations and constantly seek to improve our offer for the children and communities we serve. The ideal candidate will be experienced in working with children; a highly motivated team player; have the ability to inspire pupils; have a strong work ethic and be committed to high standards of the school and the Trust.
