Key Stage 1 Teacher job summary
We are looking for a Year 1 or Year 2 teacher able to deliver inspiring and creative lessons that will bring the curriculum to life in a fun and new way. We have extensive attractive grounds and the ideal candidate will be able to make the most of these resources leading and sharing ideas with our supportive and passionate staff and pupils. There would be an opportunity to lead a key subject such as Science or IT.
Candidates will need to have a love of learning and a wide understanding of how children learn, willing to be flexible and committed to developing the whole child. An understanding of early years is essential as is knowing how KS1 builds upon prior learning.
The candidate for us will be able to rise to a challenge with a smile, have a belief in all children, and have excellent communication with an approachable manner.
