Key Stage 2 Classroom Teacher job summary
The South Hams Federation is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and reflective teacher to teach full-time at Kingsbridge Community Primary School within our Key Stage Two department. The post is a permanent position ideally to start 28th February 2022, but this is negotiable for the right candidate. The post will initially be paid on the MPS pay scale, but there could be possible leadership opportunities for the right candidate and a pay upgrade would be considered in September.
You will be responsible for a single-aged class and will work closely with your partner teacher from the parallel class. We are looking for someone who:
• Is a great KS2 teacher
• Is creative in their approach to teaching and delivering the curriculum.
• Has high expectations of all children and themselves
• Is enthusiastic, energetic and committed to learning
• Enjoys taking risks, embraces change, challenges the status quo and believes in teamwork and collaboration
• Is inclusive of all children
We would also love to hear from teachers with:
• A passion for IT
• Experience of Talk for Writing
• Experience of Read Write Inc
• Experience across the primary age range
