  • Enthusiastic, polite and motivated students
  • High-quality professional development and leadership opportunities
  • Career progression within a respected Multi Academy Trust
  • Teacher Pension Scheme
  • Healthcare Cash Plan (Westfield Health)
  • Meal allowance
  • Excellent transport links (road, rail and nearby airports)

About the role

As Key Stage 3 Coordinator of Science, you will:

  • Lead and develop a coherent, ambitious and knowledge-rich KS3 Science curriculum
  • Work closely with the Faculty Leader to ensure strong progression from KS3 to KS4
  • Support the monitoring and evaluation of teaching and learning at KS3
  • Use assessment intelligently to identify gaps and secure strong foundations
  • Coach and support colleagues to develop effective pedagogy and subject knowledge
  • Lead KS3 enrichment, practical science and curriculum innovation
