Key Stage 3 General Subjects Teacher job summary

New Horizons, St Leonards-on-Sea, is seeking to appoint an innovative, enthusiastic and effective practitioner with empathy towards children with SEN – in particular SEMH.   

• We require a teacher with experience of teaching at primary or secondary level to deliver general subjects to our KS3 pupils. 

• The teacher will have tutor responsibility for a year 7 class which comprises of up to 12 children.

• The teacher which will deliver English and Maths to this class group along with other subject areas.

• The teacher will deliver our bespoke “Resilience” outdoor learning curriculum to their class.

• The teacher will plan and deliver aspects of the KS3 curriculum across year 7, 8 and 9.
