Key Worker job summary

A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen. The Nest is looking for a Key Worker to join our friendly team to work under the direction of the Nursery Manager and Team Leader.
The Key Worker will be part of The Nest at Wellington Eagles Primary Academy, based in Tidworth and will be providing safe, high quality education and care for young children. The Key Worker will need to understand each individual child and their individual needs and have an excellent understanding of childcare / child development. They will also be responsible for any tasks delegated by the Management Team.

The successful candidate must have:

• A proven track record of working in a nursery or pre-school setting

• A good level of education, with at least a grade 4 (C) in English and Maths at either GCSE / ‘O’ Level

• Must be educated up to NVQ/CACHE Level 2/3

• Good oral communication skills

• Some knowledge of Autism and global development delay
