What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for a candidate who is keen, motivated and able to work as part of a team to join us as a Kitchen Assistant at Mayfield College. This will be a non-cooking role.

General responsibilities will include:

  • Clearing/scraping used dishes
  • Washing utensils and dishes and making sure they are stored appropriately
  • Disposing of rubbish
  • Cleaning the food preparation equipment, floors and other kitchen tools or areas
  • Any other cleaning tasks as directed by the kitchen manager

  • The role is for 3 hours a day, 11.00 am to 2.00 pm, Monday to Friday. Term time only (minus 1 week).
