Kitchen Assistant job summary

Assist the Catering Manager with the catering operation at the school including:


the production of meals

serving of the lunch time meals

ge general kitchen and dining room duties

wash up and clean kitchen during and after service including equipment, floors, walls

t ensure the kitchen is compliant with all good hygiene and health and safety legislation

ensure tasks are carried out in line with food hygiene and health and safety legislation

as assist to set up dining room, tables, service trolleys

clean and tidy dining room after service

e ensure the safe storage of food provisions, temperature checks are recorded

at atend training courses

ad adhere to all policy and procedure and comply with food safety legislation

The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
