What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appointment a Kitchen Assistant to support our busy school canteen between 7.00am and 3.00pm five days per week. The successful applicant will assist with preparation, cooking and serving of food. The role will also involve cleaning and tidying of the kitchen and serving area. Please see the attached job description for further details.
You will work under the direct supervision, and full training will be provided.
We require:
- A team player who is happy to support different colleagues as required.
- Someone who can demonstrate attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safety procedures.
- Experience working in a school kitchen would be an advantage.
