St John's is based in the small village of Lacey Green in Buckinghamshire and is part of the ODBST. The school is at the heart of the community and plays a central role providing a high quality education for its pupils. At this time, we are looking to recruit a Midday Supervisor to join our team on a fixed term basis. The full job specification is attached but a short summary is provided below.

Role Overview:

Midday Supervisor (MDS)

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday - 2hr and 30 minutes per day (11.30am – 2.00pm) - 12hours and 30 minutes per week – 38 weeks/ year (Term Time Only)

Responsible to: Operations Officer

Grade: Bucks Pay Range 1B Salary: Minimum FTE salary is £23,297. Actual salary for hours worked is £6,611.31 paid in 12 equal instalments

Responsible for: Lunchtime kitchen and dining room supervision for St John’s pupils.

Main duties: The main duties include the serving of hot food to pupils, ensuring food is at temperature and that hygiene standards are maintained. Awareness of allergy information is essential although training will be supplied. In this role, you will work as part of the midday meal staff to supervise pupils over the school lunchtime period. The role will involve work inside the lunch hall and kitchen. You will need to have a calm, and authoritative approach to manage pupils during their free time. A good knowledge of health and safety in the school environment would also be beneficial. This role is offered on a Fixed Term contract starting ASAP from the start of the new academic year.
