What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our team at Daubeney Primary School.

We have high expectations and offer a warm and supportive environment to our staff. We believe that staff are our most valuable resource and look after them well.

We wish to appoint a Kitchen Porter who will:

  • Provide support in the preparation, cooking and serving of food and beverages
  • Prepare service areas and equipment in the service area for the efficient and effective delivery of meals and catering services.
  • Cleaning of all catering areas and both light and heavy kitchen equipment to the required standards

You will have:

 A Level 2 Certificate of Food Hygiene

 Experience of catering

 Knowledge of basic food preparations such as sandwiches, salads, etc.

  • Knowledge of Natasha’s law
  • Knowledge of allergy legislation

 The ability to read and complete simple instructions, such as cleaning rota, work rota, temperature control.
