Salary: Grade 4
Hours: 20 per week

Reporting To: Executive Chef / Catering Operations Manager
Are you passionate about food, and making a difference in young people's daily lives? Carterton Primary School is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Kitchen Supervisor to join our friendly and supportive school.
What You'll Do:
Prepare and serve nutritious and appealing meals to pupils and staff
Ensure the kitchen is a clean, safe, and hygienic environment at all times
Heat and serve pre-prepared meals, prepare simple desserts and salads
Monitor and maintain stock levels, assisting with ordering and deliveries
Keep accurate records including cleaning logs, temperature checks, and allergen info
Work collaboratively with school staff and the Trust’s catering team
What We’re Looking For:
A good standard of general education
Experience working in a catering environment
Knowledge of food safety and health & safety procedures
Someone reliable, proactive, and flexible – able to work independently or as part of a team
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
