About this Role

We are looking to appoint a KS1 Class Teacher to offer Maternity Cover for a Year 2 class.

The Ferrars Academy is a very popular, successful and well resourced academy with a well established and supportive leadership team; rated Good by Ofsted, we pride ourselves on delivering excellence in education, for infant and nursery aged children. We are located in Luton on the Luton/Dunstable border, close to the M1, A5 link roads and the L&D hospital. Our 3 form entry school has children who are well behaved and learn in a vibrant and friendly environment.

We are looking to recruit a highly committed and passionate teacher to offer Maternity Cover for a Year 2 class.

The right candidate will inspire pupils to learn with a combination of great subject knowledge, energy and dedication.

This is a fixed term position until the end of August 2026.

Applicants for this public facing post will need to demonstrate the ability to converse and provide effective help or advice in fluently spoken English.
