We are looking for a full-time teaching assistant to join our team, starting at the earliest possible point. The successful candidate will be an outstanding and enthusiastic practitioner committed to delivering high quality provision for all children.

“Together, our community inspires a love of learning and enables children to find their voice.”

Here at Halton, community is integral to our ethos and culture. Would you like to be part of a friendly, dedicated and nurturing school team who are committed to providing the best possible education for our children? We are seeking an enthusiastic, ambitious and skilled teaching assistant to be part of our commitment to achieving excellence.

Salary: Bucks Pay Range 2-3 depending on experience (Actual salary: £19,271 - £22,951)

Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am - 3.30pm - Term-time only (38 weeks per year)

Community is very important to us and when you join Halton, you become an important part of a very unique, friendly and supportive family of people. We excel at seeing the potential in all children and then working with them to reach that potential. We have high expectations of each other and the children, which is reflected in the progress that children make in their time here.

We deliver a very rich and broad curriculum, which aims to not only teach the children knowledge and skills, but which also fosters a love of learning that encourages the children to be proactive in their own education. Our ultimate aim is, during their time at Halton, that the children leave having 'found their voice'. Whether they have been with us for 7 years or 7 months, it is important to us that the children can verbalise their thinking, share their ideas, confidently ask for help if they need it and also present to other people. Some of our pupils take this even further and develop a passion for performing, singing and public speaking. Whilst not everyone will wish to perform, we hope that every child leaves our school with confidence, enthusiasm and the ability to speak out.
