Working pattern
- Full time, part time (Can be done as a job share): We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed main scale teacher to join our dedicated, friendly team. This teacher will be placed with a mixed class of either Year 1 and 2, Year 3 and 4 or Year 5 and 6 (Please state your preference on the application).
Contract type
- Fixed term - Temporary until 31st August 2025 (though there could be the possibility to extend)
Pay scale
- Main pay scale subject to experience
What skills and experience we're looking for
- Knowledge of the National Curriculum
- Knowledge of effective teaching and learning strategies
- A good understanding of how children learn
- Ability to adapt teaching to meet pupils’ needs
- Ability to build effective working relationships with pupils
- Knowledge of guidance and requirements around safeguarding children
- Knowledge of effective behaviour management strategies
Good ICT skills, particularly using ICT to support learning
