Working pattern

Full time, part time (Can be done as a job share): We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed main scale teacher to join our dedicated, friendly team. This teacher will be placed with a mixed class of either Year 1 and 2, Year 3 and 4 or Year 5 and 6 (Please state your preference on the application).

Contract type

Fixed term - Temporary until 31st August 2025 (though there could be the possibility to extend)

What skills and experience we're looking for

  • Knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • Knowledge of effective teaching and learning strategies
  • A good understanding of how children learn
  • Ability to adapt teaching to meet pupils’ needs
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with pupils
  • Knowledge of guidance and requirements around safeguarding children
  • Knowledge of effective behaviour management strategies

Good ICT skills, particularly using ICT to support learning
