What skills and experience we're looking for
KS1 Phase Leader – What are the school looking for?
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- A teacher with vision and talent to lead the progress of the KS1 curriculum
- A proven recent track record of recent outstanding teaching and learning across KS1.
- The ability to evaluate, monitor and lead the teaching team’s delivery within KS1.
- Uphold and further enhance the quality of teaching and learning, progress and attainment, wellbeing and behaviour across KS1.
- Able to support colleagues and share good practice.
- Liaise with parents, other professionals and colleagues in promoting the school’s vision and values.
- Strong analytical and good organisational skills.
- Is ambitious and driven to make a difference as a member of our school leadership team.
- A collaborative and motivated individual who will lead the phase through a variety of innovative approaches including curriculum design, teaching strategies and intervention programmes.
