KS1 Teacher job summary

The Governors are seeking to appoint an experienced, excellent KS1 class teacher.

Applicants will need to:

• Be an excellent practitioner with the ability to promote the highest standards of teaching,
learning and behaviour.
• Have good classroom management skills.
• Have a commitment to achieving high standards.
• Have an ability to work as part of a team.
• Have effective communications skills.
• Work closely with parents and the local community to promote the best interests of the
children.
• Be committed to furthering your own professional development.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and safety of children and young people and expect all staff to share this commitment, therefore the successful candidate will be required to complete a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
