What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking to recruit an outstanding, enthusiastic and committed Key Stage 1 teacher to join our energetic and nurturing team. The successful candidate will be creative and resourceful in their teaching practice, to support strong progress and excellent outcomes. The successful candidate will focus on teaching our Year 1 class.

The teaching role will include being part of our wider Academy team across three primary schools, in sharing joint planning and expertise in a supportive and dynamic way. This permanent role is available from September 2025.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of how children learn and how to translate this into high quality teaching and learning. You should be able to demonstrate an understanding and engagement in appropriate assessment processes and inclusive practices; and share a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
