We are seeking an enthusiastic and fun experienced teacher to work in our Key stage one team who has a clear understanding of the principles of the EYFS and how this can be built upon in Key Stage One. We are a large Infant and Nursery school that values a holistic approach to supporting children's development and learning. We have a vacancy within our Key Stage One team and are keen to find the right person.
We are looking for a teacher who:
- Understands how young children develop and learn and is able to plan and foster a developmentally sensitive pedagogy to meet all children’s needs
- is keen to use the environment and routines as learning opportunities
- has experience of using Talk 4 writing as an approach to developing oral story telling and writing
- Is reflective and innovative with a commitment to self-improvement
- Can use highly skilled behaviour strategies to engage and nurture children
- Has the ability to build strong and positive relationships with colleagues and families
- Has resilience and the moral drive to narrow the gap for children from disadvantaged backgrounds
- Has an enthusiasm and willingness to take part in the broader life of the school
- Enjoys being part of a happy, hard working and fun team.

Our school is a larger than average infant school, located near the University of East Anglia and in the middle of the dynamic West Earlham community, situated approximately 2.5 miles from the centre of the historic city of Norwich. We have a purpose built nursery which has the capacity for over 100 of our youngest learners. We have educational provision for 2 year olds – 7 year olds
