Due to the internal promotion of a current member of our support staff, we are looking for a KS1 Teaching Assistant to join our amazing team. You will become part of a committed team of education professionals who truly want to, and do, make a difference.
This diverse and exciting role involves supporting our KS1 pupils, including those with additional needs, to develop a love of learning. Hours of work, Monday – Friday, 8.30am - 3pm
We have great facilities and are committed to delivering a creative, engaging curriculum. Your day may include leading small phonics sessions and intervention groups, supporting individual children with additional needs, and helping pupils with their learning in the classroom. We have three simple rules in our school, ‘Safe, Ready, Respectful’. They are at the core of everything we do. We expect it of our staff and pupils and help us to provide a happy, safe and stimulating environment for all.
You may be a current teaching assistant wanting to experience a large-school setting, a recent graduate looking to develop a career in education or someone with experience of working with younger children looking to work in schools. We have over 600 pupils and 90 staff who work collaboratively to support our pupils in achieving their full potential.
