  • Salary – Scale D, £13.26 - £13.47/hr TA and Scale A, £12.65/hr MSA
  • Temporary (linked to pupil/SEND funding)

  • 23 hours 45 mins per week (M-F)
  • TA - 18 hours 45 mins per week (M-F), Term Time plus 1 week
  • MSA – 5 hours per week (M-F), Term Time only
  • Required as soon as possible


Both posts are to provide one to one support for a child in Key Stage One with an EHCP and are therefore temporary in the first instance as they relate directly to the needs of individual children. 

We are looking for individuals with a flexible and forward thinking approach who are committed to enabling every child to thrive and achieve their potential. You should be curious and open to new ways of working to ensure that you are meeting the emotional, social and academic needs of the children that you support. Hours of work, 08:30-12:15 TA plus 12:15-13:15 MSA.

We are keen to hear from applicants who; 

  • Have experience of supporting children with complex needs (including children with a neuro-diverse profile)
  • Have an enthusiasm for learning and can take the initiative in adapting the curriculum to make it engaging and relevant to the children that you support (working under the direction the class teacher) 
  • Have experience of using Makaton and other communication systems to support children who are at the early stages of developing their communication skills 
  • Have had recent STEPs training
  • Are able to establish trusting and positive relationships with children 
  • Have a calm, positive and patient outlook
  • Have a real desire to make a difference and to achieve the best for the children that you work with
  • Are qualified to a minimum of NVQ 2 or above
