Blakeney Primary School is a small and thriving school where every pupil really matters and where staff truly do go above and beyond to make a real difference. Located in beautiful North Norfolk, Blakeney Primary is part of The Pilgrim Federation, which is a group of four successful Primary schools who seek to work collaboratively to share best practice and utilise resources for the benefit of all our pupils and members of our communities.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with strong inter-personal skills and a genuine interest in supporting children with their learning and behaviour. The role involves supporting an individual Key Stage 2 pupil with their individual needs. You will:
- Have experience of working with children and supporting their learning, ideally in a primary school setting;
- Have the highest expectations of children and support them to achieve these;
- Have strong literacy and numeracy skills;
- Be able to think on your feet, show initiative and be a team player;
- Be a role model in your attitude to others and in your conduct around school;
- Have a positive mind-set that encourages and establishes supportive relationships with children, parents and staff.
The role would initially be available on a temporary basis with the intention of extending this contract for the right candidate.
