Dear Applicant,

Thank you for your interest in the position of class teacher at Chesterton Primary School. We are open to applications from Newly qualified or Main PayScale Teachers.

Chesterton Primary School joined The Corinium Education Trust in September 2018 and during the school partial periods we have support children both in and out of school. The school includes a Nursery School for children from the age of 2 years to pre-school, a Communication and Interaction Centre for children with additional communication needs and Autism as well as seven primary classrooms. We are committed to providing wrap around care for our children through our breakfast and afterschool clubs.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, full-time class teacher who:

Is an excellent classroom practitioner;

Is knowledgeable of the primary curriculum, including scaffolding the learning for a wide range of pupils;

Uses Assessment for Learning through the planning and delivery stage, to raise student outcomes

Is a reflective practitioner, committed to raising standards across the school

Builds positive, effective relationships with children, parents, and other staff
