Bellefield Primary and Nursery School is a very friendly and welcoming school with a happy and hard working team of staff. We are highly inclusive and put our children at the heart of everything that we do. We are looking for a teacher who can foster excellent relationships with children to join our team as a class teacher covering a maternity leave in upper KS2 commencing November 2024. At Bellefield, we have 11 classes plus a maintained Nursery on site and a diverse range of children that we support including a higher than average proportion of PP, EAL and SEND children. All about the role:
We are looking for someone who has:
Experience of teaching upper KS2 / or specialised in upper KS2 in teacher training. Previous experience of KS2 is desirable but not essential.
Creativity and passion to engage our children in their learning
Empathy, a positive approach and enthusiasm for working with children

This role will involve contact with children and the post holder will be engaged in regulated activity relevant to children and will be subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check before appointment is confirmed. We will only submit a DBS application to the relevant disclosure service when a position is accepted.
