What skills and experience we're looking for

The successful candidate will build on the success of the current English Lead and be able to demonstrate effective leadership skills, a passion for teaching and be pro-active in all aspects their role.

They will be responsible for the implementation and development of English. Candidates should have an excellent knowledge and understanding which ensures high standards in the teaching of literacy together with an excellent grasp of the English curriculum.

You should also have high standards of written and oral communication.

The successful candidate will have non-contact time to develop their leadership.
