This is a unique opportunity to join our large school on a very exciting journey! 

Hethersett Woodside has recently grown to full primary status, from its roots as a small infant school. Having moved into a brand new, state of the art building, the school has been gradually growing for a number of years and now is at capacity; with children from Nursery to year 6.  

We wish to appoint an inspirational teacher to teach in Key Stage 2. This is a maternity cover post, and we welcome applications from experienced as well as recently qualified teachers.  You will be supported by excellent, committed Teaching Assistants, and a wider phase team of strong support.  

The ideal candidate will: 

  • Set high expectations for every learner 
  • Have a strong knowledge of the Primary curriculum in Years 3,4,5 and 6  
  • Be able to work as part of a team both within the classroom and the wider school team 
  • Demonstrate a positive, consistent approach to behaviour management 
  • Be enthusiastic and hard working with a good sense of humour
