Lakenham Primary School is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Class Teacher to join our friendly and supportive team. This role is suitable for ECTs, MPS or UPS teachers. We are looking for a teacher with can either teach year 6 next year or have the capability to in the future.

We are looking for a teacher who: 

  • Has experience of, or enthusiasm for, teaching in Key Stage 2 
  • Has a good understanding of the Primary National Curriculum 
  • Plans learning that is exciting, challenging and promotes independence 
  • Adapts teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including pupils with autism 
  • Uses assessment positively to understand what children can remember, support progress and celebrate success 
  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status 
  • Enjoys working as part of a team and values collaboration 
  • Builds strong, positive relationships with children, families and colleagues 
  • Is keen to contribute to the wider life of the school, including extra‑curricular activities 
  • Brings energy, creativity, warmth and a sense of humour into the classroom
