What skills and experience we're looking for

The governors are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated and motivated class teacher to cover maternity leave in key stage 2. We are looking for someone who is:

  • An outstanding practitioner, experienced across key stage 2.
  • Can think creatively to inspire all learners.
  • Understands and can support the emotional developmental needs of young people in key stage 2.
  • Flexible and able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Caring, nurturing, patient and sensitive.
  • Recognises the needs of individuals and has a passion for all pupils to achieve their full potential.
  • Committed to their own professional development.
  • Understanding of, and will promote our Christian ethos, vision and values.

Further details about the role

This is a maternity leave starting on 5th June 2023 until the end of the summer term. For the right candidate this contract could be extended for the period of the whole maternity leave up until June 2024.
