We are seeking to appoint a fantastic full-time KS2 Class teacher to our high-achieving and family-oriented school. The position is for maternity cover for one academic year, starting September 2025.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be enthusiastic, well-motivated and committed to enabling every child to achieve their best

  • Be able to challenge, inspire, and develop positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents/carers
  • Be a talented teacher, who has experience of teaching in key stage 2 and who can quickly identify the strengths of individual children and build upon these with energy and vision.

  • Be flexible in their approach to change and innovation

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all students, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Foster strong parental engagement to support student learning and development.

Subject leadership is part of the role, and you will have the opportunity to develop a range of leadership skills through a carefully constructed programme that is not only supportive of a positive work/life balance but impacts on children and their learning.
