What skills and experience we're looking for
- Qualified teacher status .
- A degree or equivalent qualification.
- Experience working in a Primary setting across KS2 (not suitable for an ECT).
- Evidence of in-service professional development.
- The ability and willingness to work collaboratively and supportively within the school team.
- Has a thorough knowledge and understanding of safeguarding children.
- Demonstrates a good understanding of assessment and progress
- Has a thorough understanding of the national curriculum.
- Has a strong application of ICT to enhance children’s learning.

Further details about the role
To cover PPA and subject release time across the KS2 phase.
To carry out appropriate planning, teaching, marking and assessment activities so each child can achieve their potential.
To be responsible for the day-to-day work and management of the class and the safety and welfare of the pupils, during on-site and off-site activities.
To promote the aims and objectives of the school and maintain its philosophy of education.
This is a fixed term position until July 2023 and is a part time, 0.6 FTE role.
