What skills and experience we're looking for

The Governors of Rudyard Kipling Primary School and Nursery wish to appoint two exceptional full time KS2 teachers on a fixed term basis.

You will:

  • Be an inspirational practitioner who loves to teach, inside the classroom and through outdoor learning

  • Possess the ability to build positive relationships with every child in your class
  • Hold high expectations for every child, including those with additional needs

  • Embrace a culture of continuous improvement, always seeking to improve as a practitioner
  • Have the ability to challenge every child using the full spectrum of Quality First and Adaptive teaching strategies
  • Value the power of outdoor learning
  • Acknowledge every child for the individual they are and be able to teach them accordingly
  • Possess a relational and inclusive educational philosophy
  • Be a strong team player
  • Wish to contribute to the wider school community and offer to lead a club
