What skills and experience we're looking for
● QTS
- Successful clearance via an advanced Criminal Records Bureau disclosure
● Effective planning skills
- Outstanding teaching skills which are engaging and motivating
- Ability to assess and monitor children’s progress
- Excellent class and behaviour management
- Ability to meet the social and emotional needs of children.
- A clear understanding of how children learn and what effective teaching looks like.
- Ability to manage and develop support staff.
• Knowledge of the cognitive science that underpins effective teaching.
- Effective use of assessment for learning
- Good subject and curriculum knowledge
- Ability to offer expertise in specific areas of the curriculum • Inclusive approach
● Experience of working in either
KS1 or KS2
• Excellent relationships with
children based on an understanding of
them individually.
• Evaluative and reflective practitioner
- Positive attitude to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Very good communication skills with parents and carers
- Commitment to professional development.
